That is, a company or website is promoting its service or product. The route a business or website has taken to bring your link is known in the digital marketing world as pay per click (PPC).
As mentioned in the introduction, PPC advertising is done via Google AdWords, which can be classified into three types: Display, Display + Special Offers, and Display + Display. In order to keep things simple let’s focus on the display category only.
